Today, on 25th August, Linux turned 26 years old. On this day, in the year 1991, Linus Torvalds sent out a message to developers where he shared the idea about his new personal project. The use of Linux operating system is developing day by day and it has become an integral part of our lives. Linux now powers smartphones, computers, supercomputers, routers, data centers and even websites. Although Linux has been unable to beat Microsoft, Open source lovers all across the world always choose to stick with Linux. Microsoft had recently expressed great interest in Linux. Recently, Microsoft had added Ubuntu Linux on their Windows store which makes it simpler to install Linux tools on Windows 10 and run Windows and Linux apps side by side. Not only Ubuntu, Microsoft had also revealed that it’s partnering with SUSE and Fedora and will also bring their Linux distro to the windows store.
