The announcement to demonetise Rs.500 and Rs.1000 notes came with a stated aim of curbing black money, corruption and tax evasion which is causing much panic among the citizens. Even earlier we saw that how the Black money holders in India turned to the search engine for seeking help “How to convert black money into white”. However, banning Rs.500 and Rs.1000 notes have resulted in rendering almost 86% of currency in circulation. But, now the Indian government has stopped over the counter exchange of old notes of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 from last midnight. But, the Indian Government has still allowed several privileges for the certain transactions and activities where the payment could be made only through old Rs.500 notes. Hence, all these places will simply allow the usage of your old Rs.500 notes till the midnight of 15 December 2016. So, now let’s have a look at the places:-
